THE KOREAN CHURCH MISSIONS TO THE REPUBLIC OF KENYA (03)

a port city and worked for the Africans in that city and then he used
to come back to Nairobi, the Capital of Kenya for the purpose of wor-
king at the Nairobi Korean Church.

Observing of the present activities of mission and the perspective
plans of the future, it is going to preach the Gospel supplying daily
breads such as corns, beans, sugar, salt and so on for the poor. And
they have selected four villages about 50 families size of inhabitant
and have been trying to establish the churches for the villages.

Secondly, they have the plan of the church planting to preach the
Gospel to the children in the villages supplying some things to eat
and some school supplies. The future prospect of such an education is
very bright. Thirdly, A plan of Gospel Proclamation for the College
students around the Nairobi University is going on. Fouthly, They have
the plan of establishing the International Christian School for Chris-
tian Spirit Training.

For the purpose of carrying out this plan Missionary Lim has adopted
the method of team ministry; Now eight persons of Africans are being
trained on lodging and boarding with him in his house. Rev. Lim made
the missionary journey and Evangelical meetings accompany with them a
number of times, and then they had won 160 new Christian members from
the ministry at that time. After that he has sent the members trained
to even neighboring countries Ethiopia, Uganda, Tanzania and Somalia,
and he is going to evangelized more wide fields.

Meanwhile the Nairobi Korean Church too has cooperated with his mis-
sions. The members of the Korean Church go out for a visit to take
care of the orphans and relieve the poor and preach the Gospel on the
road. They has been participating in his mission in many fields.

Because the freedom of mission has been allowed in Kenya, there are
no problems of ministry but it is difficult to solve the antagonistic
relationship between each other.
