THE KOREAN CHURCH PLANTING IN THE REPUBLIC OF BRAZIL (04)



Meanwhile another Korean immigrants consisting of 514 persons(69
families) as a group emigrated into Brazil in 1966 through the good
office of Mr. Yoon, Eul Soo, a Catholic priest whose position was
President of Korean Branch under the International Catholic Immigra-
nts association. After having fixed in Brazil, they have formed the
faith community for themselves.

In 1967 a nun of the Benedictines had been sent there for them.
In 1976 esveral nuns, Kirn Soo Ock, Choi Kyung Ok has been sent for the mission by means of social work.
