A DEMONSTRATION OF GOD AND THE ARGUMENTS FOR THE EXISTENCE OF CHRISTIAN GOD IN CHRISTIAN APOLOGETICS (02)

CHAPTER I INTRODUCTION
Since ancient times, there has not been any nation in the world which didn t have their God or gods. But most of them, nonetheless, did not believe in God, the Creator. The Bible says: \ The fool has said in his heart, there is no God, they are corrupt, they have committed abominable deed; There is no one who does good. The Lord has looked down from heaven upon the sons of men, To see if there are any who understand, Who seek after God. They have all turned aside; together they have become corrupt; there is no one does good, not even one...There are in great dread, For God is with the righteous generation\ (Ps. 14:1-5).
This is the warning words from God to the fool, in which He has judged all men to be sinners because they did not understand and did not seek God, while He has urged them to repent of their sins. Here, the men means, the so called, \ all the atheists\ who says \ there is no God.\ Atheism is the denial of God as the first principle and is thus antitheism, the opposite of theism. The word atheist and atheism can be found as early as in the works of Plato; they recur in the Letter of Paul to the Ephesians (Eph. 2:12), and in the works of the Father of the Church.
Atheism can be divided into two categories: theoretical atheism and practical atheism. The former is the denial of God based on a system of thought that excludes the possibility of the existence of the Absolute, the latter is the denial of God as reflected in the way one conducts his private and public life, leaving the question of God out of consideration and basing conduct solely on finite value (Britannica, 1977, vol. 2, 258).
In other words, the theoretical atheism is the denial of God based on their philosophical or theological thought, while the practical atheism is the denial of God in their actual life.
In the light of this theory, theoretical atheists are found in the philosophical or theological intellectuals, while the practical atheists are found both in the intellectuals and the others, namely unbeliever. The project of this dissertation at first set the goal of development of theological knowledge, and secondly for the evangelism to the atheists, intellectuals or unbelievers.
More in details, this project aims at the development of the writer s theological learning, the education for the students of the theological seminary, and at understanding of the intellectuals including unbelievers, especially Koreans in Korea and in America. This is the mission of the project in which the writer does try to process this dissertation.
In this dissertation, the writer will philosophically and theologically develop the doctrine of God, in particular, the demonstration of the concept and the arguments for the existence of God. 💟💟💟

서 론
고대로부터 자기들의 신을 가지지 않은 나라는 없다. 그러나 그들 나라 중에 대부분 창조주 하나님을 믿지 않았다. 성경은 다음과 같이 말한다. “어리석은 자는 그의 마음에 이르기를 하나님이 없다 하는도다 그들을 부패하고 그 행실이 가증하니 선을 행하는 자가 없도다. 여호와께서 하늘에서 인생을 굽어살피사 지각이 있어 하나님을 찾는 자가 있는가 보려 하신즉 다 치우쳐 함께 더러운 자가 되고 선을 행하는 자가 없으니 하나도 없도다 죄악을 행하는 자는 다 무지하니 그들이 떡 먹듯이 내 백성을 먹으면서 여호와를 부르지 아니하는도다 그러나 거기서 그들은 두려워하고 두려워하였으니 하나님이 의인의 세대에 계심이로다”(시 14:1~5).
이 말씀은 하나님께서 어리석은 자들에게 내리시는 경고로, 모든 사람이 하나님을 알지도 아니하고 찾지도 않기 때문에 죄인들로 심판하시는 반면에, 그들로 하여금 죄를 회개하라고 촉구하시는 말씀이다. 여기의 사람들은 소위 “하나님이 없다”라고 말하는 모든 무신론자를 의미한다. 무신론은 제일의 원리로서 하나님을 부정하는 반유신론으로, 유신론의 반대편이다. 무신론자와 무신론이라는 용어는 플라톤의 작품에서와 같은 초기에 발견되는 것으로 이 용어들은 에베소 사람들에게 보낸 바울의 서신에서 나타난다(엡 2:12). 그리고 교부들의 작품들에 나타났다.
무신론은 두 범주로 분류하게 되는데, 즉 이론적 무신론과 실제적 무신론이다. 전자는 절대자의 존재의 가능성을 배제한 사상 체계에 기초하여 하나님을 부정하고, 후자는 사적이며 공적인 생활로서 행동하는 방식으로 반영된 하나님에 대한 부정으로, 고찰을 통하여 하나님에 대한 의문을 남기고, 유한한 가치에 관하여 오로지 행동하는데 기초하고 있다(브리태니카 1977, vol. 2, 258)
다시 말하면, 이론적 무신론은 철학적 혹은 그들의 신학적 사상에 기초하여 하나님을 부정하는 것인 반면에, 실제적 무신론은 그들의 실제 생활에서 하나님을 부정하는 것이다. 이 이론에 의하면, 이론적 무신론자는 철학적 혹은 신학적 지성인에게서 발견되는 반면에, 실제적 무신론은 지성인과 다른 사람들 즉 불신자들에게서 발견된다. 이 논문의 프로젝트는 우선 신학적인 지식의 발전을 목표로 하고 있으며, 다음으로 무신론자들과 지성인들 혹은 불신자들에 대한 복음 전도를 목표로 하고 있다.
좀 더 상세히 말하자면, 이 프로젝트는 필자의 신학적인 학문과 신학생들의 교육, 그리고 불신자들을 포함하여 지성인들의 이해를 목표로 하는바, 특히 한국과 미국에 있는 사람들을 목표로 하고 있다. 이것이 필자가 본 논문을 진행하려는 프로젝트의 미션(mission)이다. 본 논문에서 필자는 철학적으로 그리고 신학적으로 하나님에 관한 교리를 전개하여 발전시킬 것이며, 특히 신개념을 제시하고 신 존재에 관한 논증을 발전시킬 것이다. 💟💟💟
