19세기 신학사상 (역사주의: Introduction)
(2) 역사주의 (歷史主義)
독일의 역사주의는 존재론이나 관념론등 본질론 에서가 아니라 변증법적 방법론으로서 정(正, thesis), 반(反, antithesis), 합(合, synthesis)의 역사적 발전 과정으로 나타난 일종의 방법론을 말한다.
본래 역사주의의 대표적 인물인 헤겔(George W.F. Hegel)은 존재론적인 입장에서 독일의 관념론의 대표적인 학자로 보는 바, 그 관념론에 있어서의 실재를 변증법적 방법론으로 설명하고 있는 면에서 볼 때에 역사주의자라 하겠다.
본래 독일의 관념론은 칸트(Emmanuel Kant)에서 발단한 것으로 슈라이엘마허(Schleiermacher)의 내재적 경험철학의 과정을 거치면서 구체화되기 시작한 것을 헤겔에 와서 역사적 방법론으로 구현된 것이라고 할 수 있다.

(3) Midway school : F. A. Tholuck, I. A. Dorner, A. W. Neander

◉ Historicism (for Historical Jesus)
(1) Original Gospel is not wholly right.
(2) Therefore, the knowledge of God can get not through Jesus but
through the whole history, because:
① Jesus only cannot be the source of truth, and
② the truth cannot remain on the point or in an individual in the
history.
