[A hard saying to understand] (3) (The reason to not believe in Jesus)
Jewish people had not believe in Jesus Christ in spite of Jesus' good works of which He had preached the gospel, healed a lot of patients, and taken care of the poor and the oppressed, because He tell the truth. We can't understand this people. The people did not believe in Jesus Christ rather persecuted Him. We cannot understand it. But Jesus said the reason why, \"because I tell the truth, you do not believe Me. Which of you convicts Me of sin? And if I tell the truth, why do you not believe Me? \"He who is of God hears God's words; therefore you do not hear, because you are not of God.\"(John 8:44-47) And because there is no truth in them. Today many people do not believe truths rather do follow lies. Because they have become the son of liar. No wonder is this, for even Satan disguises himself as an angel of light(고후 11:14).
[이해하기 어려운 말씀] (3) (예수를 믿지 않는 이유)
유대인들은 예수께서 복음을 전하시고, 병자들을 고치시며, 가난한자들과 압제당하는 자들을 돌보시는 선을 행하심에도 불구하고 그를 믿지 아니하였는데, 그 이유는 예수께서 진리를 말씀하셨기 때문이다. 우리는 이 유대인들을 이해할 수가 없다. 유대인들은 예수를 믿기보다는 오히려 그를 박해하였다. 우리는 이것을 믿을 수가 없다. 그러나 예수께서 그 이유를 말씀해주셨다. “내가 진리를 말하므로 너희가 나를 믿지 아니하는도다 너희 중에 누가 나를 죄로 책잡겠느냐 내가 진리를 말하매 어찌하여 나를 믿지 아니하느냐 하나님께 속한 자는 하나님의 말씀을 듣나니 너희가 듣지 아니함은 하나님께 속하지 아니하였음이로다\"(요 8:44-47). 그리고 그들 속에 진리가 없기 때문이다. 오늘날도 많은 사람들이 진리를 믿지 않고 오히려 거짓을 따른다. 거짓의 자식이 된 것이다. 이것이 이상한 일이 아니라 사단도 자기를 광명의 천사로 가장하기 때문이다.(고후 11:14)
