And then, the 44th General Assembly held at Dae Jeon Joong
Ang Church September 24, 1959 at the risk of the church
division. At the session of the General Assembly was there the
division between the churches of W.C.C. line and the churches
of N.A.E. line.
After they suspended the conference, the representatives of
the W.C.C. line held a conference their own way at Yeon Dong
Church in Seoul, meanwhile the representatives of N.A.E. line
resumed their conference at Seung Dong Church on
November 24, and decided the secession from the W.C.C.
which was contaminated with Liberalism.

(3) 제3차 교회분열
1959년 8월 7일 날짜로 호남지구 남장로교 선거 구역 안에 있는
10개 노회(충만, 대전, 군산, 김제, 전서, 전북, 전남, 순천, 목표,
제주)가 에큐메니컬 운동에 반대하여 W.C.C.에서 탈퇴할 것을
선언하고, 탈퇴성명서를 총회에 제출하였다.
그리고 나서 교회분열의 위험을 안고 1959년 9월 24일 제44회
총회가 대전 중앙교회에서 개최되었다. 결국, 총회 기간에
W.C.C. 계열의 교회들과 N.A.E. 계열의 교회들 사이에 분열하게
되었다. 총회가 정회된 후, W.C.C. 계열의 총대들은 그들의 방식
대로 서울에 있는 연동교회에서 총회를 개최하는 한편, N.A.E.
계열의 대표들은 9월 24일에 서울에 있는 승동교회에서 총회를
재개하여 자유주의에 오염된 W.C.C>로부터 탈퇴하기로 결정하
