Four Fold Witness of Jesus Christ, the Messiah in John (메시아 예수 그리스도에 대한 4중 증거)

There are Four Fold Witness of Jesus Christ, the Messiah in the chapter 5 of the Gospel of John. The first is the witness of God Himself, the second the works of God, the third the witness of the Scriptures, and the fourth the witness of John. (성경 요한복음 5장에는 예수 그리스도에 관한 4중 증거가 있다. 그 첫째가 하나님 자신의 증거요, 둘째가 하나님의 역사의 증거요, 셋째가 성경의 증거요, 그리고 넷째가 요한의 증거이다. (요 5:31-39)
(1) The Witness of God Himself in v. 37 (하나님 자신의 증거, 37절).
“And the father Himself who sent Me has testified of Me.” (또한 나를 보내신 아버지께서 친히 나를 위하여 증거하셨느니라).
(2) The Witness of the Works of God in v. 36 (하나님의 역사의 증거, 36절)
“The works which the Father has given Me to finish the very works that I do bear witness of Me that the Father has sent Me.” (아버지께서 내게 주사 이루게 하시는 역사 곧 나의 하는 그 역사가 아버지께서 나를 보내신 것을 나를 위하여 증거하는 것이요.)
(3) The Witness of the Scriptures in v. 39 (성경의 증거, 39절)
“You search the Scriptures for in them you tink you have eternal life and these are they which testify of Me.” (너희가 성경에서 영생을 얻는 줄 생각하고 성경을 상고하거니와 이 성경이 곧 내게 대하여 증거하는 것이로다.)
(4) The Witness of John in v. 33 (요한의 증거, 33절)
“You have sent to John and he has borne witness to the truth” (너희가 요한에게 사람을 보내매 요한이 진리에 대하여 증거하였느니라.)
