세미한 하나님 음성을 들으려면(Hearing Soft Voice of God)-영어/한글
When I feel overwhelmed with negative emotions like worry, fear, or anger, I sit down at a desk with an open notebook. I write down everything that comes to mind, all my feelings. When it appears that God is trying to say something to me through my thoughts, I write those thoughts in a new paragraph. Then I start a new paragraph and write my counter argument against them.
Eventually I come to the point where I have nothing more to say. By that time my emotions have calmed down, and I have found the cause of my emotions and the ways to handle them. It’s because I have heard God’s voice.
God speaks constantly to us, rarely with an audible voice but through thoughts. His voice is not loud. His voice is so subtle that we can’t hear it if we are emotionally agitated. Writing my thoughts and feelings as they come to my mind helps calm the emotions and sort out the thoughts to enable me to hear God’s voice.
When I read later what I have written down previously, I find that some of the voices are accusing and condemning while others are comforting and encouraging. The former is an evil spirit’s voice disguising itself as God’s voice, and the latter is the God’s true voice.
As I learn to discern the difference between my thoughts, the devil’s ideas, and God’s true voice, I don’t have to sit down to write to hear God’s voice in the midst of daily routines.

이유 없는 염려, 두려움, 절망감 등이 몰려올 때가 있습니다. 이럴 때에 저는 시간을 내어 책상머리에 앉습니다. 노트를 꺼내어, 머리에 떠오르는 생각을 적습니다. 하나님과의 대화로 만들어 적습니다. 내가 말하고, 하나님이 답하시는 식으로 말입니다.
내 얘기를 적을 때에는 여과없이 원색적으로 적습니다. 그러다가 하나님께서 질문을 하시거나, 이의를 제기하시는 것 같으면, 단을 바꾸어 적습니다. 하나님 말씀이 끝나면 내 차례입니다. 항의를 하기도 하고, 반론을 펴기도 합니다. 이런 식으로 하나님과 대화를 글로 적어갑니다.
이렇게 적다 보면 더 이상 할 말이 없어지는 순간이 옵니다. 그리고 격정의 이유를 깨닫게 되고, 현 상황에서 취해야 할 태도를 알게 됩니다. 하나님의 음성을 들었기 때문입니다.
하나님은 어제도 오늘도 우리에게 말씀하십니다. 육성으로 말씀하시는 경우는 거의 없지만, 직관 비슷하게 생각을 통해서 말씀하십니다. 이러한 하나님의 음성은 세미합니다. 그래서 생각이 복잡하고, 감정적으로 격해 있을 때에는 들리지 않습니다. 이럴 때 책상에 앉아 글로서 하나님과의 대화하면, 격정이 갈아 앉고, 생각이 정리되며, 마침내 하나님의 음성을 듣게 됩니다.
자신이 쓴 글을 다시 읽어보면, 정죄하고 비판하는 음성이 있고, 긍정적이고 평화로운 음성이 있는 것을 보게 됩니다. 정죄하고 비판하는 것은 하나님의 음성 같지만 마귀의 소리이고, 긍정적이고 평화로운 것만이 하나님의 음성입니다.
이런 연습을 통해 자신의 생각, 마귀의 속삭임, 하나님의 음성을 분별하는 능력을 개발할 때, 책상에 앉아 글로 적지 않아도, 일상 가운데에서 하나님의 음성을 듣게 됩니다.
