Worshipping in Spirit and in Truth <귀여운(?) 예배 준비>- Kor/Eng
예수님께서는 신령과 진정으로 예배 드리라고 하셨습니다(요 4:24). 그런데 제가 처음 예수 믿을 때 구체적으로 어떻게 하는 것이 신령과 진정으로 예배 드리는 것인지 가르쳐주는 사람이 없었습니다.
예수 믿은 지 40년이 넘는 이즈음, 저는 신령과 진리로 예배 드리는 것을 이렇게 정리했습니다. 기도는 믿음으로, 찬양은 진정으로, 헌금은 감사함으로, 설교는 하나님의 말씀으로.
신령과 진리로 드리는 예배는, 신령과 진리로 준비하는 데서 시작된다고 생각합니다.
어떤 50대 자매님이 최근에 예수님을 영접했는데, 예수님에 대한 사랑으로 가슴이 뜨겁습니다. 어느 토요일 저녁, 제게 이메일을 보냈는데, 어린이가 명절날을 기다리듯이 들뜬 마음으로 주일 예배를 기다리는 모습을 보면서, 이게 신령과 진리로 예배를 준비하는 것이 아닐까 싶어서 소개합니다.

오늘은 하나님과의 만남을 준비하는 날.
외면 준비는 다~ 마쳤습니다.
이제 내면 준비로 들어갑니다
전 잘 모르니까... 그저 우리 생활에 비추어 보고 꿰 맞춥니다.
내일 하루 종일 부모님과 함께하려면? 오늘 난 무엇을 해야 하나?
제가 아직 성경적으론 초딩의 지식도 없어서... 이런 식으로밖에 생각할 수가 없어요 ㅎㅎㅎㅎㅎ.....
회개 기도 했고
찬양, 중보, 간구 (한가진 잊어 먹어서 못했습니다) 했고
깨끗이 씻었고
식구들과 음식 나눴고
내일 먹을 것 준비해 놨고
비지 찌개를 앞집 할머니와 나눌 거고
청소, 빨래했고.. 낼 입을 옷들 준비했고
성경 말씀 읽고...배운 것 복습하고
놀고...쉬기...
밝게 ~ 웃음 머금고 ~ 피곤하여 짜증스러움 전혀 없는 모습으로~ 편안하게 ~
몸과 마음이 깨끗하고 향긋하게 ~ 선물 준비해서 ~ 기쁨과 설레는 ...
진짜로 반가운 사랑스런 마음으로 ~~~~ 하나님 뵈러 가면 되겠죠?

Jesus said that God seeks those who worship in spirit and in truth(John 4:24), but when I first became a Christian I had no idea what that actually looked like.
This is how I understand worshipping in spirit and in truth: praying with faith, singing with sincerity, offering with thankfulness, and acknowledging sermons as the word of God.
Worshipping in spirit and in truth requires appropriate preparation.
A woman in her fifties recently received Christ and fell madly in love with Him. She emailed me one Saturday, telling me what she was doing in preparation for worship service the next day. She cleaned the house, ironed her Sunday dress, cooked food she planned to deliver to an elderly woman after service, took a bath, prayed, and waited.
Her childlike enthusiasm and eager anticipation was an excellent example of how to prepare to worship in spirit and in truth.
So with her consent, I would like to share her email. It was written in Korean, and much of the subtlety of her writing unfortunately gets lost in translation. I am only able to give the gist of her message in English.
