가정교회를 모르는 분들을 위한 특강(The House Church 101)-in KOR/ENG
기독교 방송국 CGN TV 프로그램 중의 하나인 ‘표인봉, 윤유선의 하늘빛 향기’에 초대 받아 면담을 했는데, 동영상 관람 숫자가 1만을 훌쩍 넘겼습니다. 얼마 후 CGN TV로부터 가정 교회에 관한 강의를 부탁받았습니다.
CGN이 가정교회에 관심을 갖는 이유는 코로나로 인하여 교회가 어려움을 겪고 있는 이때에, 가정교회 500개와 일반 교회 500개를 비교했을 때 가정교회는 거의 영향을 받지 않는다는, 빅데이터 연구 결과 때문이지 않은가 싶습니다.
강의를 부탁받았을 때, 프로그램 담당 작가에게 물었습니다. 가정교회를 모르는 사람 입장에서 무엇을 알고 싶냐? 이분은 세 개를 꼽았습니다. (1) 가정교회가 무엇인가? (2) 가정 교회에 어떤 성공 사례가 있는가? (3) 일반 교회 목회자나 성도들에게 도움이 될 팁이 있다면, 무엇인가? 그래서 다음 주제로 강의안을 준비하였습니다.

Recently I appeared on a talk show sponsored by Christian Global Network TV (CGN TV) to discuss the House Church. The episode has garnered more than 10 thousand views, well above the show’s average 2000 views. The station later invited me to present four lectures on the House Church.
This station is probably interested in the House Church due to a recent study. A big data company compared 500 traditional churches and 500 house churches and found that house churches were minimally affected by the Covid-19. Relationships between church members remained strong, and time spent in prayer and Bible reading actually increased.
I asked the managing director what specifically she would like to hear regarding the content of my lectures. She said she would be interested to know what the House Church is about, the effects and results of implementing the House Church and some ministerial tips that may be applied to traditional churches. I organized the lectures accordingly.
Those who have been involved for a long time in House Church ministry may not find anything new in this lecture series but may benefit from reviewing essential House Church principles. This lecture series will be more helpful to those who don’t know anything about the House Church as I will teach the basic principles of the House Church in an abridged format.
Unfortunately the lectures were given in Korean, and the videos have no subtitles. I apologize to my Facebook friends who are only English-speaking.
